I had never considered those who walk the Camino de Santiago, so I was astounded by the number of pilgrims (even in the winter!) in Santiago de Compostela.
These days the pilgrimage seems to be more of a rite of passage or fitness endeavor, but it was obvious that the connections made among the pilgrims of all nationalities, races, and religions perfectly echoed the lesson of brotherhood.
