The Tea Man


Although most folks think coffee is the national beverage of Turkey, it is far surpassed by tea which is served in small tulip-shaped glasses virtually everywhere – on the street, on ferries, in cafes, in the market, in shops, in offices – by the çaycı (the tea man) to whom these photos attempt to pay homage.
