These multi-layered photos, black and white Hipstamatic phone shots with wild colored abstracts, are part of my Technicolor Gray series. Since I think of Istanbul as a gray city (due to the building materials) I found it great fun to give it such a colorful makeover. I used these combinations to experiment with yet another hand made book, placing each photo on a different color paper, trying out different bindings, and embellishing it with beads.
